Experimental Physics

Experimental physics is a branch of physics that involves carrying out experiments to test and develop theories about the physical world. Experimental physicists design and carry out experiments to measure physical phenomena, collect data and analyse the results in order to understand how things behave in the universe. These experiments can range from studying subatomic particles using particle accelerators to observing the behaviour of astrophysical objects.

Syllabus

Laboratory or experimental works on various topics, including Nuclear Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Cosmology data analysis, Laser Physics, Optics, etc. Students will choose 2 subjects from the many on offer.
