Prerequisites & entry profile for joining

The M1 General Physics programme welcomes talented Bachelor’s graduates (at least 180 ECTS credits, or equivalent) who wish to deepen their knowledge of physics, and who wish to pursue a research career in a university, an industrial or a public research laboratory. It is open in priority to physicists, as well as to students in mathematics or engineering, provided they have a sufficiently strong knowledge of fundamental physics (including quantum mechanics, statistical physics, special relativity, electrodynamics) and mathematical tools for physics.

Institutional information on the application process is available on the website of Université Paris-Saclay. Make sure to read it carefully.
